Asia Pacific Journal of Multidisciplinary Research - Lumina Foundation Special Issue

True to its mission of promoting the holistic development of the human person and the creation and dissemination of new knowledge, Lumina Foundation for Integral Human Development through its official publication partner Asia Pacific Journal of Multidisciplinary Research released the maiden issue of APJMR-LFIHD Special Issue last 26 May 2020.
The special issue contains 15 scholarly works by Filipino researchers who participated in various research conferences organized by Lumina Foundation.
Lumina Foundation expresses its gratitude to Lyceum of the Philippines University-Batangas, Dr. Jake Laguador, and the researchers.
NPRE 1st Online Assembly

Utilizing a virtual meeting platform, the Network of Professional Educators and Researchers (NPRE) held its 1st NPRE Online Assembly last 25 May 2020. In the meeting, the new NPRE members were welcomed and took their oath. Also, the various conferences organized by NPRE and Lumina Foundation were discussed. Adapting to new norms, NPRE makes the most of the digital space for online assembly, virtual conferences, and publishing scholarly journals.

SIBOL: NATIONAL YOUNG SCHOLARS CONFERENCE AND CONTEST

Last October 27-28, 2019, Lumina Foundation for Integral Human Development, Inc. (LFIHD) in cooperation with the Network of Professional Researches and Educators, Inc. (NPRE) invited young scholars from Grade 11 to First Year college to share and present their research works in Sibol: National Young Scholars Conference and Contest 2019. The theme was “21st Century Filipino Young Scholars: Responding to Social Issues Through Research.” The research conference was held at Henann Regency Resort and Spa, Boracay, Aklan. The election of the founding officers of SIBOL: Samahan ng mga Iskolar ng Bagong Salinlahi was also held after the research conference.
Layag: Tourism and Hospitality Research Conference 2019

Last September 27-29, 2019, scholars/educators of tourism and hospitality management gathered at Noni's Resort, Batangas for the Layag: Tourism and Hospitality Research Conference 2019. Layag 2019 was spearheaded by Dr. Mae Borbon as the Conference Director. Layag is held in partnership with Lyceum of the Philippines University Batangas, College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management -LPU Batangas, Network of Professional Researchers and Educators, and Noni's Resort.

Sulo: Educators Congress 2019

Last April 5-8, 2019, Lumina Foundation in cooperation with the Network of Professional Researchers and Educators (NPRE) and Silay Institute, Inc. held SULO: Educators Congress 2019 at the Great Eastern Hotel, Quezon City, Philippines. Sulo is a national conference for educators and researchers which provided an opportunity for Filipino educators and researchers to deepen their knowledge on the latest researches and methodologies in teaching 21st-century learners. The theme of the congress was “Teaching and Learning Towards Whole Person Education."
Lirip 2: Banyuhay

Responding to the challenge of disseminating new knowledge towards the advancement of the Filipino language, Lumina Foundation for Integral Human Development, Inc. in collaboration with the Network of Professional Researchers and Educators, Inc. held the national conference on Filipino dubbed Lirip 2 “Banyuhay: Ang Multikultural na Edukasyon Tungo sa Transpormatibong Lipunan” last Oct 28-30, 2018 at Hue Hotel, Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
LIRIP is a Filipino word meaning “reflection on truth.” The research congress provided an innovative and comprehensive overview of the latest research in teaching and learning using the Filipino language. It also explored the various ways in which the Filipino language have positively influenced and shaped the lives of educators and learners. The research congress was attended by 44 scholars from different educational institutions.
Lumina Foundation 2nd National Research Congress

Last April 7-9, 2018, Lumina Foundation, Inc. in cooperation with the Network of Professional Researchers and Educators, Inc. and the Philippine Red Cross held the 2nd Lumina Foundation National Research Congress at Great Eastern Hotel, Quezon City.
The keynote speaker was Dr. Vivian Titular who shared her research on "The Joy of Teaching."
The research congress provided an innovative and comprehensive overview of the latest research in teaching and learning. It also explored the various ways in which teaching and learning have positively influenced and shaped the lives of educators and learners.
2nd Lumina Foundation International Research Congress, Taiwan
Last February 3-5, 2018, Lumina Foundation, Inc. in cooperation with the Network of Professional Researchers and Educators, Inc. and Fu Jen Catholic University’s College of Education and the Graduate Institute of Educational Leadership and Development held the 2nd Lumina Foundation International Research Congress at the Liberal Enlightenment Hall of Fu Jen Catholic University, New Taipei Taiwan.
The research congress provided an innovative and comprehensive overview of the latest research in teaching and learning. It also explored the various ways in which teaching and learning have positively influenced and shaped the lives of educators and learners.
The research congress was attended by 54 participants from different educational institutions. Young scholars from Makati Science High School also read their research works in the conference.
The Asia Pacific Journal of Multidisciplinary Research
Last 13 Nov 2017, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Lumina Foundation for Integral Human Development and Lyceum of the Philippines - Batangas. The Asia Pacific Journal of Multidisciplinary Research is the official publication partner of Lumina Foundation.
Present during the MoU signing were Dr. Cecile Pring (Vice President for Academics and Research of LPU-Batangas), Dr. Fides A. del Castillo (President of NPRE, Inc.), Mr. Clarence Darro del Castillo, MBA (President of Lumina Foundation), Ms. Cristina Macascas, MAT (Vice President of NPRE, Inc.), Dr. Vivian Titular (National Coordinator of NPRE, Inc.) and Dr. Jake Laguador (Director of Journal Publication, Innovation and Data Manager of LPU- Batangas).
LIRIP "Sipat-suri: Ang Ika-21 Siglong Kognisyong Guro sa Pagkatuto at Pagtuturong Filipino"
Noong Nobyembre 3-5, 2017, ginanap ang "LIRIP" sa Bayfront Hotel, Cebu City. Ito ay isang pambansang komperensiya sa Filipino na itinataguyod ng Lumina Foundation for Integral Human Development sa pakikipagtulungan ng Network of Professional Researchers and Educators. Layunin nito na mapagtagpo ang mga guro, manunulat, tagaplanong pangwika, at iskolar ng iba’t ibang larang upang magbahaginan at magtamo ng bagong kaalaman sa lalong ikasusulong ng Filipino.
Hinubog din nito ang kasanayan sa pagbuo ng pananaliksik at ang malalim pa na pagsasagawa nito bilang hamon sa mga guro at mananaliksik sa Filipino.

Last May 5, 2017, the Network of Professional Researchers and Educators (NPRE) was launched at the National Educators Congress 2017 at Great Eastern Hotel, Quezon City.
The founding members elected the Coordinating Officers namely Dr. Vivian B. Titular (National Coordinator), Mr. Sigfredo V. Aler (Coordinator for Luzon), Ms. Susana C. Castillo (Coordinator for the National Capital Region), Ms. Rafunzel Yap Bulilawa (Coordinator for Visayas), Mr. Edmar L. Laceda (Coordinator for Mindanao) and Dr. Ariana Arboleda (Coordinator for the NCR Public School Sector).
Lumina Foundation 1st Educators Congress 2017, Quezon City
Lumina Foundation for Integral Human Development, Inc. (LFIHD) has organized a national conference for all educators and professionals last May 5-7, 2017. The Educators Congress 2017 theme is “Shaping the Hearts and Minds of 21st Century Learners."
The Educators Congress was well attended by educators from the private and public sectors.

Lumina Foundation for Integral Human Development International Research Congress 2016 @ Hong Kong
Last October 29-30. 2016, various scholars from the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Taiwan participated in the Lumina Foundation International Research Congress with the theme “Teaching and Learning for Innovation.”
The research congress was held at IBIS Hong Kong Central and Sheung Wan Hotel and covered a diverse number of topics on education.
